Officating in the KFOA
The Kentuckiana Football Officials Association (KFOA) is one of the premier high school football officiating associations in the nation. Its members currently officiate all Varsity, Junior Varsity, and Freshman football games in the Metro Louisville Area. Additionally, the KFOA services numerous youth league football programs.
In addition to high school and youth leagues, current and former KFOA members can be found officiating in several college conferences and the NFL.
The KFOA holds regular membership meetings each Wednesday evening starting the last week of July through the first week of October. Training sessions are held with new members for an hour before each regular meeting, plus there are two special orientation meetings for new members in mid-June.
Officiating football is a tremendously rewarding avocation. You get to participate in a great game, help kids and make great friends. The rewards are endless.
